I realized that my rear tire wouldn't make it back to San Diego; the
"local" dealer is in DePere (just south of Green Bay). I took a fairly
pleasant ride down, and the efficient dealer mechanic changed the tire
in 15 minutes.
Then I rode back.
How about some more butterflies? This is a Milbert's Tortoiseshell
a Northern Crescent
and I think this is a Bronze Copper (although its color is more subdued than the pictures I found).
We're building (well, Xavier is building, and I'm kibitzing) a crane to
load chunks of logs onto a splitter (he also engineered and built).
Note
the full moon in the background.
(He's arc welding, the gas rig was used to punch some holes for plug welds.)
