We spent a good part of the day laying out the lines to pump the sap back to the sugarbush. Having neglected to label them when we pulled them out two years ago, it was somewhat of a puzzle, but it doesn't really matter all that much, as we didn't tap the same trees in the same areas anyway, except generally.
I happened across this knarly knot—they apparently have meaning to some people; I just thought it looked cool.
And to finish up the bus heater installation, we cut a hole in a piece of scrap tin, screwed it into a window frame and poked the pipe through. Looks 'factory!'
