Mid-Wis Maple, Day 25

Took a little trip into 'town' to pick up $180 worth of hydraulic oil for Mike's Kubota tractor...


Then schlepped down to the old homestead to gather some more box elder sap, 'assisted' by X's granddaughter Kara.


This lazy box elder pretty much grows parallel to the ground.


We got enough sap from a couple of days ago, plus this gather, to cook down again.


New cover boards, the old ones were severely de-laminating.
