Summer Soiree, Day 14

We spent most of the day finishing up the installation of the insulation around the shed support poles. For most of them, Xavier could get the scoop on the tractor in to dig / loosen up the soil, but there was still a lot of spade work involved.




Then he used the scoop to push the removed dirt back into the holes, when he had good access...


...and even when he didn't, he managed—it just took more maneuvering.

Finally, several passes back and forth and around, using the scoop and the rear blade, had somewhat of a berm around the building...




...and even inside.


Missy, mother of the previously featured kittens, was scheduled for surgery / fixing today, but eluded capture until it was too late.
