Summer Soiree, Day 22

Nephew Joe needed some stuff done that he doesn't have the equipment for, so we loaded up the Massey with forks, bucket, and a chainsaw, and headed down in the morning to see what we could do.

First Xavier used the forks to lift out this rotted log.

Note also the little tree growing next to the window.
He then used the scoop to dig out some broken up foundation (from a former garage). rocks

A chain around that tree (as far up as we could reach) served to pull it over; fortunately not a lot of roots under the current slab, so it pretty much snapped off.

Then back to mounting that washing machine motor onto the cement mixer.

We figured we had to protect that open frame motor, so we bent up some tin... Mixer

I wrapped the loose wires into a bundle with some electrical tape, and we called it done.
