Marathon County Maple, Day 8

The forks for Xavier's new tractor finally came—part way. The truck that was hauling them was too heavy for the local / town roads, so we had to drive up to the state highway and meet him.

We slid the three pieces (back plate and two tines) into the back of his truck, and once back at the homestead tilted them up so the loader could just pick 'em up.
