Summer Sojourn, Day 16

They're picking up the hay that was 'tedded' yesterday; a field that would have taken us (perhaps) two days to bale (or chop) back in the day, modern machinery can clear off in just over an hour.




That machinery isn't cheap, however. I found a listing for a used 2018 version of the chopper for just over a quarter million; the operation was running five tractor / wagon rigs to haul it away, the one tractor I looked up cost $122 K, used.


We're making some progress on the mystery machine...
