Summer Sojourn, Day 18
We did make it to the fair...the last time I attended this one was the day
RMN announced he was stepping down; it hasn't changed a lot. Different
things caught my attention, this time: animals, produce, and machinery;
all things that were more a part of my life back then and are much less
so now.
We got there before the midway was open, it got busier later.
Early version of an 'automatic' apple peeler.
Many vendors sell cheese curds, not a thing back in the day—deep fried,
although I talked one into selling me some un-fried.
Home again, we needed to weld up some brackets to position the fuel tank
on the mystery machine; its position is set and the brackets are bolted
to the frame.
