Summer Sojourn, Day 23

Mystery machine progress:

We wanted to get some oil circulation in the motor before even turning it over.

The oil pump is driven by the distributor shaft, so X cut the gear off a 'spare' one (it wouldn't drive out)...


...and chucked it into the drill. As you can see, it worked a treat.

The motor turned over, but hasn't started—yet.
