Summer Sojourn, Day 29

Xavier read about half of this book before giving up, but now he can say that he finally got through it. :-)


I neglected to mention that the power plant / running gear on the "no longer a mystery" machine are from a 4WD Ford pickup.

We chopped the handle off of a nail puller, and are using it for 'mount assist.'




We're having a problem with the battery charge circuit. We had the alternator tested yesterday, and put in a new voltage regulator, with no improvement noted.


I hate to leave it that way, but I'm heading for the airport / San Diego as soon as I send this.

P.S. It did get sorted, somewhat; the wheels got turned around, and the 'iffy' charging circuit turned out to be operator error. You can see somewhat of a follow-up here.
