Summer Soiree, Day 04

We spent much of the day digging out around the the new shed to put some insulation around the foundation poles, to keep frost from heaving them out.


X used the scoop on his tractor for much of it...


...and although shovel work managed a neater hole, it's a lot more work.


Finesse the slab around the pole...


...and dump the dirt back on top of it.


We managed to get six of them done.

Then we went up to Mike's (where we played with some new kitties)...


...to borrow his trailer, and loaded the excess material onto it for return to Menard's.
