Summer Soiree, Day 29
Went on a drive down to Rudolph with Pete, Xavier, and Mike, mostly to buy some cheese at Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese Company. There are a couple of semi-local stores like this, the closer one being Mullins Cheese, which used to be my go-to. But the Rudolph store has an adjunct ice cream parlor, which tipped the scales this time.
I don't have any pictures of the store or ice cream, but did take one of the bucolic road on the ride down.
Then we schlepped over to the Rudolph Grotto Gardens, which tweaked some ancient memories, pre-teen? We didn't get out much when I was a kid...
On the way back to the highway, we spotted this tank, and being guys, had to stop and crawl over it for a while, educated somewhat by Pete, who was in the army for a stint.
Back home we picked (the last of the) peas, and a pile of cukes, and ... well, that's about it.
